Charging Requirements:
Note: The standard temperature for this charging process is 25°C. As the ambient temperature decreases or increases, the adjustment coefficient for the charging voltage of the storage battery is + or -4mV (°C · per cell).
The charging process parameters are as follows:
First stage: Pre - charging
Constant - current charging at 0.10C3A until reaching 2.00V per cell or charging for 0.5h. If the voltage of 2.00V per cell is not reached, the charger should alarm to indicate an abnormal situation.
Second stage
Constant - current charging at (0.15 - 0.18)C3A until reaching 2.40V per cell or until the charging time reaches 6h. Then, the charging automatically switches to the third stage.
Third stage
Constant - current charging at (0.10 - 0.12)C3A until reaching 2.47V per cell or until the charging time reaches 2h. Then, the charging automatically switches to the fourth stage.
Fourth stage
Constant - voltage charging at 2.47V per cell with a current limit of 0.05C3A. Charging continues until the current drops to 0.01C3A or until the charging time reaches 2h. Then, the charging automatically switches to the fifth stage.
Fifth stage
Voltage - limited at 2.67V per cell, current - limited at 0.015C3A. After charging for 2h, it automatically switches to the sixth stage.
Sixth stage: Floating charging
Floating - charge voltage is 2.30V per cell, with a current limit of 0.01C3A. The charging duration is 4h.
For example: The storage battery model is 3 - EVF - 200, with a rated voltage of 6V. The voltage requirements for the charging process parameters are three times the above - mentioned requirements. The rated capacity is 200Ah, where 0.15C3A represents a current of 30A (A represents the unit of current, and C3 represents the capacity of the storage battery).
